Explain Formatted and unformatted console input output function

Formatted and Unformatted Console I/O Function:

Console input-output functions are used to receive input from the keyboard and write output to VDU i.e. Video Display Unit.

The screen and keyboard together are called a console. Console input-output functions can be further classified into two categories-formatted and unformatted console input output functions.
